Instead of two years they have to study for the four semesters the main Reason behind the semester system in the Gujarat state was to stop the wrong Publicity and help the students. Under this Policy the midterm exam of the 11th class is considered as a 1st semester exam likewise final exam of 11th class is considered as a 2nd semester exam and similarly for the 12th class. 12th class midterm exam will be considered as a 3rd semester exam and final as a 4th semester exam.
