Baisakhi is the Hinduism and Sikh
festival which is celebrated in India with the many significance and

The festival Baisakhi generally celebrated on 13th April but this year this festival arrives on the date of 13th April 2014, Baisakhi is the day first started celebrate in at the occasion when Panj Piara were founded and the 10th
Guru of the Sikhs “Guru Govind Singh” is the founder of this occasion
in year 1699, this is the day when farmers prays the gods to their
Harvest that is laid down in whole year and they celebrate this occasion
as Baisakhi.
“Talwandi Sabo” is place where all his
occasion of Baisakhi starts because Sikhs believed that this place is
very sacred “Guru Govind Singh” was stayed here for Nine Months and the
Holy Book Guru Granth Sahib was modified. In the Gurudwara of Anandpur
Sahib which is known as birthplace of Khalsa, and this event also take
place in the famous “Golden Temple” at Amritsar.
In widely India this festivals is
celebrated but this is famous in Punjab because this is the place where
it formed and the Punjabis are too good with their Dhols and Nagaras.
Baisakhi is celebrated in western Punjab that is Pakistan and in the
various place of Pakistan also. This is the festival that is also
celebrated in overseas like US, Canada, UK and Malaysia.

“Bikrami” shows the New Year and also the harvest season starts in this
occasion many of the events and fairs always organize in the Punjab
State in various villages and town.
