UPSC – Geologist Admit Card 2014 – Download at www.upsc.gov.in
Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will be declare the Geologist Post Examination Hall Ticket / Admit Card 2014 on its official website www.upsc.gov.in.
Application for Geologist Post was started from the date 01-03-2014 by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) on its official website www.upsc.gov.in and the last date for this application is 31-03-2014.  Lots of candidates have participate in this Geologist Post Examination 2014.
Examination for Geologist Post will held on the date 24-05-2014 on various examination center in across the India by the Union Public Service Commission. UPSC held various examinations for the candidates of the India. Every year lots of candidates have participate in this various examination which is held by the UPSC.

UPSC Geologist Examination will includes total 2 parts. The first part will includes the General English paper which includes the english language, Short Essay, english grammar, Rest questions will related to General concept for the General English and English Grammer and understanding of english language.
The second part will includes the Geology Paper 1, Geology Paper 2 and Geology Paper 3. The Geology Paper 1 will includes the Structural Geology with Measurement of strain in deformed rocks. Behavior of minerals and rocks under deformation conditions, Geotectonic, Unconformities and basement-cover relations, Principles of geological mapping and map reading, Behavior of minerals and rocks under deformation conditions etc.
Geology Paper 2 will includes the Igneous and Metamorphic Petrology, measurement and interpretation of grain size. Elements of hydraulics. Primary structures, Mineralogy, Extinction angles, birefringence of minerals and their relation with mineral composition, Regional and contact metamorphism of politic and impure calcareous rocks, Environmental Geology, disposal of industrial and radio-active waste etc.
Geology Paper 3 will includes the Mineral exploration, Building stones. Phosphoresce deposits. Placer deposits, Geology of fuels, Geographical and geological distributions of onshore and offshore petroliferous basins of India, Geo botanical and geochemical methods, Gemstones, refractory minerals, abrasives and minerals, National Mineral Policy. Mineral Concession Rules, Indian mineral deposits and mineral economics etc.
Part 1 for UPSC Geologist Exam will includes total 100 marks and the time duration of this part 1 is 3 hours. Geology Paper 1 will includes total 200 marks and the time duration of this Paper 1 is 3 hours. Geology Paper 2 will includes total 200 marks. The time duration of this paper 2 is 3 hours and the Geology Paper 3 includes the total 200 marks with the time duration of the three hours. There are total 600 marks will includes in this Geologist Part 2 Examination 2014.
Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will be soon declare the Geologist Admit Card 2014, so candidates can download their UPSC Geologist Admit Card 2014 from the official website www.upsc.gov.in after the declaration. Candidates can get their exam hall ticket by given below link.
