The Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board (UPBEB) conducts the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) every year. This test has been conducted for appointed as teachers in government-run organizations. It is a entrance test for recruitment to teacher post. Only B.Ed graduates passed candidates can be appear in this written examination. The TET consists of two papers such as paper I and paper II. The paper I is conducted for selection of teachers for class I to V and paper II is conducted for selection of teachers for class VI to VIII. This year this UPTET was conducted in the month of February 22, 2014 and February 23, 2014 at various examination centers. A large number of interested and eligiable candiates was appeared in written examination. Now the attended candidates are waiting for UPTET results 2014.
