Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania Wiki

Filmmaker Karan Johar has proven to be a mentor to Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt. The actors, who initiated their career with the movie "Student of the Year" under the guidance of Karan Johar, have been signed again by Karan for his next venture, "Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania". The film will be produced by Dharma Productions and will be directed by debutant Shashank Khaitan.

Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania Story

The movie will be fun, warm and crazy love story and will be shot extensively in Punjab. Both Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt will be back to romance each other again. The two co-stars Varun and Alia had an unrequited romance in SOTY, so this is technically their first on-screen love story. According to sources, the film will be a tribute to the classic Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, one of KJo's favourite films. It will not be a remake of DDLJ but will follow in the lines of Raj and Simran. The team is also on the lookout for someone who can play a role similar to Parmeet Sethi's original one.
