Being born youngest of the family, the love for arts swelled within me. A third generation South Indian in Malaysia, after finishing school, Ruth left to Mumbai to be trained in acting.

While going for auditions in Mumbai, I spoke briefly to a director and he asked me to join beauty pageant but at that time I brushed it off.

A twist of events brought me back to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and here my pageant journey begun. Currently a finalist in Miss World Malaysia 2014, I'm taking one step at a time to broaden my horizon and to overcome barriers my mind has placed and to push till the finish line.
